Course Terms & Conditions


Please note that registration is on a first come, first serve basis.  A NON-REFUNDABLE payment must accompany your registration.  Absolutely NO REFUNDS are issued unless class has been cancelled by Code Blue 4U.  You must notify Code Blue 4U in advance within 48-hours prior to the start of class if you are unable to attend.  You have the option to reschedule for another class date, one time only.  If you are absent from the course without notice to Code Blue 4U, you will forfeit your registration fee.  A credit, from funds already paid, for another class will not be granted due to absence without prior approval from Code Blue 4U.  Code Blue 4U reserves the right to cancel class due to insufficient student registrations, inclement weather, or emergencies.  You will be notified via email of cancellation after 6 PM the day before the course.


Course Fees include instruction, course manual, maintenance, and certification upon successful completion.  Please wear comfortable clothing.  We ask that you remove jewelry and lipstick prior to working with the manikins.  Courses may cause emotional stress and require strenuous activity during practice and testing sessions.  If you have a medical condition, disability, or are in the later months of pregnancy, please consult with your physician prior to registering for the course. E-LEARNING PRODUCTS:  There are absolutely NO refunds for e-learning products.

Confirmation for the course will be sent once payment is received and processed.  NOTE:  Pre-registration is required for all courses.


The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.


Providing we are BBB Accredited and in good standing, you and we agree to submit any dispute arising under this agreement, with the exception of disputes alleging criminal or statutory violations, to Better Business Bureau of Greater Hampton Roads to be resolved through mediation and/or binding arbitration.

Mediators are volunteers and are Supreme Court Certified. Decisions reached in mediation are mutually agreed upon between disputing parties. 

In accordance with the BBB Rules of Binding Arbitration the Arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding on both you and us, and judgment on the decision may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.  

This Agreement to Arbitrate affects important legal rights.  Neither of us will be able to go to court for disputes that must be arbitrated.  Further information about BBB arbitration may be obtained by contacting the BBB at 757-531-9400. 

Neither of us will be committed by the terms of this agreement to arbitrate unless you have agreed to the terms and conditions upon registering.  In which event we will both be committed.


I have read the above information and understand fully the risk involved in courses provided at Code Blue 4U and accept full liability for any illness, injury, or emotional stress that I may incur from this training program.  I am considered to be in good health and have permission from my physician to participate in the course.
